Dominant Performance by Cardenas in St. Louis Win
|
St. Louis got a first-rate effort from pitcher Bruce Cardenas, who frustrated Kansas City hitters en route to a 2-0 Explorers triumph at Corps of Discovery Stadium. Don Dalton sewed up the save, his 4th. With the victory, the Explorers upped their record to 17-17.
The Bulls had trouble solving Cardenas, who surrendered no runs on 3 hits over 8.2 innings.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Cardenas.
