Seagulls Take Down Generals, 3-2
San Francisco turned a good effort from starter Chris Freeman into a win over the Atlanta Generals at Mission Field. The final score was 3-2. The victory gives the Seagulls a record of 22-11.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when right fielder Willie Romero, who is tied for 7th in the ABL in triples with 2, hit a run-scoring triple. The Seagulls went on to win.

"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Al Borie, the San Francisco skipper.
