A 6-RBI performance from catcher Charlie Fee, who finished 5th in the NBL in RBI with 115 in 1970, led the Milwaukee Dairymen to a win over the Brooklyn Bluebirds, 11-7. Milwaukee reliever Arnie Keilman was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Dave Norman took the loss. The last-place Dairymen have won 4 in a row.

With Milwaukee leading 7-6 in the bottom of the sixth, Fee hit a 2-run single off Brooklyn hurler Dave Norman. It was the 25th hit of the season for Fee and put his team ahead, 9-6.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Fee.
