Boston turned a good effort from starter Mack Sutter into a win over the Twin Cities Northmen at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. The final score was 4-2. Bruce Shurtleff earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. With the win, Boston goes to 19-17, while the Northmen fall to 15-22.

In the bottom of the 4th, Boston took the lead on a 2-run single by Randy Stewart. At the time, the Terriers were trailing 2-1, but Stewart's hit with two outs against Twin Cities pitcher Gerald Gross put them in front, 3-2.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Sutter.
