The Brooklyn Bluebirds topped the Milwaukee Dairymen, 16-8, at Flatbush Park. Brooklyn left fielder Greg Landrum was a spark plug for the offense. He was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3. The third-place Bluebirds have a record of 18-19.
