Generals Suffer 8-3 Road Loss
|
The performance of Roberto Soto proved critical in helping Seattle beat Atlanta, 8-3. The Emeralds shortstop was 3 for 4 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Seattle goes to 3-1.
Roberto Salazar, who finished 4th in the ABL in triples with 9 last year, helped out the Seattle cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the right fielder drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances, while scoring 2 times.
"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie.
