Wranglers Roll Past Pobladores, 8-2
Dallas turned a good effort from starter Barry Gilmore into a win over the Los Angeles Pobladores at Bluff Park. The Wranglers won the game, 8-2. Dallas is now 19-19, while Los Angeles is 18-20.

Dallas right fielder Roger McCoy contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 37th hit of the season and put the Wranglers ahead, 5-2.

McCoy told a Dallas Daily News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
