Brooklyn Loses, 7-5, to Pittsburgh in 12
The Pittsburgh Industrials faced a tough opponent in Brooklyn pitcher Dick Conway, but found a way to pull out the victory at Flatbush Park by a final score of 7-5 in 12 innings. Conway went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. The 4th-place Industrials now have a record of 23-18.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 24-year old shortstop Chip Berry. Berry had a run-scoring double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Industrials ahead, 4-3. For the game, Berry had 1 double and 1 single in 2 at-bats.

Berry told a Pittsburgh Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
