Habitants Take Down Generals, 6-5
Led by Don Hill, the Montreal Habitants defeated the Atlanta Generals, 6-5, in 12 innings. Hill was 3 for 6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Habitants. The Habitants improved their record to 23-17 by beating Atlanta.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Hill hit a fastball from Paul Hodges for a run-scoring double. The Habitants, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Hill.
