Milwaukee Dealt 3-1 Defeat
|
The Los Angeles Blockbusters got a stellar effort from pitcher Ken Morrison, helping Los Angeles score a win over the visiting Milwaukee Dairymen, 3-1. With the win, the Blockbusters improved to 17-24.
With scoring opportunities rare, the Blockbusters had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when left fielder Bobby Capps hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Chris Davalos and made the score 1-0, Blockbusters. Capps was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"Coulda, shoulda, woulda," said Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley. "We had our chances and didn't cash in."
