New York Tacks 3-1 Loss on Washington
|
Pitcher Chris Hull was sensational for the New York Knickerbockers in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Washington Eagles. Hull earned the win. New York has now won 3 in a row.
New York center fielder Bob Marston contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 31st hit of the season and put the Knickerbockers ahead, 3-0.
"Chris did what Chris does," said New York manager Timothy Widholm.
