Bluebirds Deal Bobcats 6-3 Loss
Brooklyn beat Cleveland on the strength of starter Bill Keiser's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. The Bluebirds improved to 20-24.

Though he didn't earn the victory, Keiser kept his team in the game until the bullpen took over and the Brooklyn offense came through. Over 7 innings, he allowed 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 8.

Keiser called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
