Wranglers Lose By a Run at Twin Cities
|
The Dallas Wranglers wasted an inspired, 7-inning effort from starter Barry Gilmore, falling, 1-0, to the Twin Cities Northmen at Twin Cities Stadium. The Northmen move to 22-22 with the win, while the Wranglers drop to 23-22.
In the bottom of the sixth, Noland Lockhart delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the Twin Cities center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Northmen in front, 1-0.
Lockhart told the Twin Cities Times: "I was born for the big stage."
