Bilski Surgical in Houston Win
|
The Houston Drillers picked up a win at Sam Houston Field, knocking off the Los Angeles Pobladores, 3-0. Starting pitcher Larry Bilski played a key role in the triumph. The Drillers saw their record improve to 28-17.
Bilski was dominant for Houston. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits, while racking up 12 strikeouts. He threw 129 pitches over 8.2 innings in the contest.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Bilski.
