Governor Lays Hammer Down in 8-1 Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the New York Empires and Baltimore Lords get after it.

The Baltimore Lords and starting pitcher Frank Governor stifled the New York offense en route to a comfortable 8-1 win at Seton Hill Stadium. With this game in the books, Baltimore is 22-22, New York 30-14.

Governor subdued the New York offense. The Baltimore right-hander allowed a mere 4 hits over 9 innings, while fanning 12. His season record goes to 3-3 with the win.
