Bobcats, Traber Silence Philadelphia, 8-0
|
Marv Traber really had his stuff working at Quakers Stadium today. The Cleveland Bobcats hurler mystified the Philadelphia Quakers and shut them out 8-0. Traber allowed a total of 3 hits in the ballgame and struck out 10.
"The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Traber said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose."
This season Traber has compiled a 2-5 mark, 2.77 ERA and made 8 starts.
