The Kansas City Bulls and Los Angeles Blockbusters played an entertaining game for Blockbuster Stadium patrons.

The Kansas City Bulls racked up a win at Blockbuster Stadium, bumping off the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 6-5, in 12 innings. Dennis Greenlee, who started for Kansas City, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was Greg Stalling in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Bob Cole took the loss. Bob Crosby, who finished 2nd in the NBL in saves with 41 in 1975, earned the save for Kansas City.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Rich Lewis? The fan favorite Lewis stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put Kansas City up, 6-5. For the game, he was 3 for 6, including 1 double and 2 singles.

"Dennis executed his pitches at a high level," said Kansas City manager DD Martin.

The win gives Kansas City a season record of 28-19.
