The Denver Burros picked up a win at Blockbuster Stadium, knocking off the Los Angeles Blockbusters, 9-4. Starting pitcher Jeff Munoz was a big reason why. The Blockbusters, now 19-28, have lost 10 in a row.

In the top of the third, John Crabtree delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the Denver first baseman hit a 2-run single, putting the Burros in front, 9-4.

Los Angeles manager John Trausch, after yet another defeat, said: "Just different when you have that swimming feeling in your cranium. It's difficult to focus."
