Pobladores Defeat Emeralds, 6-1
|
Swanee Law pitched a gem to lead Los Angeles to victory over the Seattle Emeralds, 6-1. The Pobladores now have a record of 17-33.
With Los Angeles leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Law hit a slider from Mike Blalock for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Pobladores ahead, 3-0.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Law said after the game.
