The Milwaukee Dairymen converted a terrific effort from starter Ken Brown into a win over the Kansas City Bulls at Independence Field. The Dairymen won the game by a final score of 4-2. Bernie Kirk closed out the game, earning his 3rd save. With the win, Milwaukee has a record of 25-27. Kansas City falls to 30-22.
Milwaukee took advantage of an error in the top of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Cliff Bragg hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Dairymen in front, 3-2.
"I just tried to make good contact," said Bragg.
