Atlanta Makes Boston 6-2 Losers
|
Due in large part to center fielder Matt Legrow, the Atlanta Generals sunk the Boston Terriers, 6-2. Legrow was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Atlanta is now 23-30, Boston 21-31.
In the bottom of the sixth, Atlanta shortstop Kyle Devine had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Devine stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 4-2, Atlanta. For the game, he went 1 for 4 with a walk.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Legrow. "And not try to do too much."
