Empires Lose Big to Lords, 10-2
|
A 5-RBI performance from center fielder Tim McNeely, who is tied for 7th in the ABL in triples with 3, led the Baltimore Lords to a win over the New York Empires, 10-2. The winning pitcher was 24-year old right-handed pitcher Hector Velazquez. He tossed 121 pitches over 9 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits. The victory puts Baltimore at 21-32.
Early in the game, McNeely had a 2-run double for Baltimore. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Lords on top, 2-0.
"Good pitching and timely hitting is a recipe for success," said McNeely.
