Eagles Send Cleveland Home with 6-4 Loss
Cleveland got a terrific game from third baseman Keith MacPherson. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Washington, 6-4. MacPherson was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs. The winner was Washington reliever Richie Kingery, now 3-1. The loser was Myron Baird. Washington has now won 5 straight.

Washington took a 4-3 lead on Don Horton's 1st triple of the season. The run-scoring triple, which Horton hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Cleveland pitcher Myron Baird visibly frustrated.

"I like the roll we're on," said Washington manager Brandon Tucker.
