Explorers Drop 5-1 Decision to Burros

The Denver Burros topped the St. Louis Explorers, 5-1, in National Baseball League action at Gates Crescent Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Denver pitcher John Gannon. Earning his 1st save of the year was Dick Scorza. Denver has an impressive 37-19 record.
