Ramirez Shuts Out Cincinnati, 4-0
|
Cincinnati were shut out, 4-0, by Juan Ramirez and the Philadelphia Quakers at Roman Arena. The Packers offered little resistance to Ramirez, who stopped them on 4 hits, fanned 6 and walked 2.
"It just felt right today," the right-handed Ramirez told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
In 12 starts this season, Ramirez has registered a 5-6 record and a 3.73 ERA.
