The Dallas Wranglers picked up a win at Bluff Park, dropping the Chicago Hawks, 6-3. Mike Brown, who is tied for 6th in the ABL in innings pitched with 91.1, was the difference-maker. Brown got the win, improving to 6-4. He gave up 10 hits and walked 4 over 8.2 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Ken Craig got credit for the save for Dallas. It was his 1st of the year.

Dallas shortstop Herman Comp contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a sinker to right-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Wranglers ahead, 4-0.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Dallas manager William Albrecht. "That's what Mike is right now."

The Wranglers now own a record of 24-34.
