Captains Lose By a Run at Milwaukee
The Milwaukee Dairymen beat the San Diego Captains, 2-1. Milwaukee pitcher and Chesterfield Township, Michigan, native Chris Davalos led the way. The win makes Milwaukee 28-29.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Dairymen had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when right fielder Roberto Matallana hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Ray Schifsky and made the score 2-0, Dairymen. Matallana was 1 for 2 with a walk.
