Carrillo Hits Two Homers in 6-5 Win for Boston
|
The Boston Terriers beat the Montreal Habitants, 6-5, at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Armando Carrillo, in particular, was impressive. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. With the win, Boston lifts its record to 3-3.
Boston took a 6-2 lead on Carrillo's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Steve Locke in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Boston to the win.
"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Carrillo. "I just want to win ballgames."
