Ronnebaum goes 3-for-4 in Blockbusters Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 22-year old right fielder Ernie Ronnebaum, the Los Angeles Blockbusters stopped the San Diego Captains, 7-0. Los Angeles reliever Dick Berry was the winner. His record is now 6-2. The losing pitcher was Darryl Armstrong. Their 29-31 record puts the Blockbusters 5th in the National Baseball League Western Division.

In the bottom of the seventh, Los Angeles catcher Juan Alicea hit a run-scoring single to right field. The clutch hit made it, 1-0, Blockbusters.

Ronnebaum attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
