The Atlanta Generals went down to defeat to Danny Prentice and his Twin Cities teammates. The final score was 4-1, in favor of the Northmen. Jeff Jordan notched his 1st save in 1 chances. Twin Cities is 23-37 and Atlanta, with the loss, 25-32.
Twin Cities used the timely hitting of Greg Clement to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Northmen on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Clement. "And vice-versa."
