Stambaugh Now 8-2 After Subduing Pobladores
|
San Francisco starter Tim Stambaugh put a stranglehold on the Los Angeles offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Seagulls to a 6-0 win. The Pobladores, now 22-40, have lost 4 in a row.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Stambaugh, who tallied 7 strikeouts in 8 innings and allowed only 4 hits. Stambaugh, who is tied for 4th in the ABL in wins with 8, raised his record to 8-2 on the year with 75 strikeouts.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Stambaugh told the San Francisco Times.
