The Baltimore Lords handed the Toronto Hurons a loss at Dominion Field. The final score was 4-3. Tim McNeely was one of the major contributors for Baltimore. Tied up with the Hurons in the top of the fourth inning, the Lords got a boost from pitcher Larry Diego. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Diego saw a 2-1 cutter from Mike Beers and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Baltimore on top, 3-2.

"Good win," said Diego. "Maybe some of the whiners in the clubhouse will pipe down for a little while now."

With the victory, the Lords upped their record to 33-25.
