Bluebirds Earn 3-2 Win Versus Knickerbockers
The Brooklyn Bluebirds finished things off in style.

Starting pitcher Rod Henry was a major factor in the 3-2 Brooklyn Bluebirds triumph over the New York Knickerbockers. Brooklyn reliever Mike Gregory picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Ollie Hundley was saddled with the loss.

Ron Eubanks was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bluebirds center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Eubanks.

The losing streak for New York has now reached 4 games.
