Lords Hand Seattle 8-5 Loss

Baltimore and Seattle duked it out and the Lords came out victorious.
The Baltimore Lords picked up a win at Seton Hill Stadium, knocking off the Seattle Emeralds, 8-5. Starting pitcher Larry Diego played a key role in the triumph. Seattle has now lost 5 in a row.
Woodie Scheideler had a big 3-run home run for the Lords in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Baltimore trailing 3-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a sinker from Denny Goldberg, who is tied for 9th in the ABL in innings pitched with 95.0, and punished it. The result was his 7th home run of the season, which put the Lords on top, 5-3.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Diego told the Baltimore Chronicle.
