Drillers Bridle Generals, 3-1
|
In a low-scoring contest, Houston pitcher Oscar Contreras was marvelous in his team's 3-1 win. Tim Fried picked up the save, his 6th. With the win, Houston upped its record to 31-29.
Tony Barajas, the 22-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Barajas contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Houston up, 3-1.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Barajas.
