The home crowd had a good time watching the Milwaukee Dairymen and Chicago Traders get after it.

The performance of Ken Mays proved critical in helping Chicago beat Milwaukee, 9-4. The Traders right fielder was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times. The second-place Traders have won 5 in a row.

The fans who came to support the Traders were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Union Field.
