Bobcats Sunk by Packers
|
Armando Estrada brought his A-game to help Cincinnati defeat the Cleveland Bobcats, 2-0. Estrada, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 6 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up no walks. The win gives Cincinnati a record of 4-3.
Ron Brown was 1-2 with a walk for Cincinnati. The 31-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Bruce Cardenas. It was his 2nd walk of the season.
"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Estrada.
