Twin Cities Northmen starter Gerald Gross pitched effectively against the Dallas Wranglers at Bluff Park. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 3-2 win. The Northmen win now puts them at 29-33.

John Kinney had a direct impact on the outcome. Kinney contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Twin Cities up, 3-1.

"Really good pitchers have that ability to raise their game when they need to," said Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim.
