Seton Hill Stadium was the site of a competitive game between the Baltimore Lords and Atlanta Generals.
The Atlanta Generals earned a win at Seton Hill Stadium, stopping the Baltimore Lords, 4-2. Starting pitcher Renie White played a big role in his team's success. The winner was White. He threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Kenny Wilson.
Atlanta used a well-timed hit by John Darnell to capture the win. The third baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Generals ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
White called the win "a team effort."
