Industrials Eke Out 4-3 Win Versus Cincinnati
The Pittsburgh Industrials picked up a win at Allegheny Field, knocking off the Cincinnati Packers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Dennis Visco played a key role in the triumph. Pittsburgh is now 40-26, 2 games up in the National Baseball League Eastern Division.

Pittsburgh left fielder Johnny Flakes contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Industrials ahead, 4-0.

"I'll be honest," said Visco. "I was running on fumes at the end."
