McCoy slugs 2 home runs as Wranglers Squeeze Past Chicago
The Dallas Wranglers defeated the Chicago Hawks, 5-4, in American Baseball League action at Hyde Park Stadium. Roger McCoy pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Dallas starter Steve Coomes was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 7.2 innings. His record now stands at 8-5.
