Eagles Suffer 8-5 Loss to Cleveland
Behind the hitting of Cleophas Wade, the Cleveland Bobcats stopped the Washington Eagles, 8-5. Wade went 1 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Bobcats. Matt Rutledge converted his 9th save in 14 tries. Washington has now lost 4 straight.

Wade had a timely hit for Cleveland in the bottom of the sixth. With Washington trailing 5-4, he turned a 1-1 sinker into a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 8-5, Cleveland.
