Crumm Silences Atlanta Bats
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Toronto Hurons and the Atlanta Generals. Toronto won it, 1-0. Toronto starter Dan Crumm was in command. Toronto is now 28-39, while Atlanta is 30-34.
Crumm gave Toronto a blue-ribbon performance. The 6-foot-0 left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.
"Dan is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Toronto manager Jim Burns.
