Drillers Come Up Short at Twin Cities, 3-2
Twin Cities Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Houston Drillers and Twin Cities Northmen.

The Houston Drillers went down to defeat to Ben Hall and his Twin Cities teammates. The final score was 3-2, in favor of the Northmen. Hall, the winner, moves to 7-5. He threw 8.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up 3 walks. The save was credited to Bill Smith, his 3rd.

Noland Lockhart had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Twin Cities. With a runner on 3rd and the Northmen leading 2-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"We found a way to get it done," Lockhart said.
