Industrials Subdue Milwaukee, 3-1
|
The Pittsburgh Industrials got a stellar performance from pitcher Jeff Munoz, who handcuffed the Milwaukee offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. The triumph puts Pittsburgh at 42-27 for the season.
Pittsburgh used a clutch at-bat from Alex Robinson to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Industrials ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Munoz. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
