Conway Stymies Industrials
|
Pittsburgh dropped a 5-0 shutout to Dick Conway and the Brooklyn Bluebirds at Flatbush Park today. The Industrials offered little resistance to Conway, who stopped them on 2 hits, fanned 4 and walked 1.
"It just felt right today," the right-handed Conway told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm."
