Cincinnati Nets 8-7 Win Versus Quakers
Cincinnati third baseman Jamie Robinson picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Philadelphia Quakers, 8-7. The win belonged to Ismael Gutierrez in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Darrell Klug took the loss for Philadelphia. The Packers go to 27-42 with the win.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Cincinnati trailing 7-6, Robinson jumped on a sinker from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Darrell Klug and hit a 2-run home run to right. With one swing, the Packers had a walk-off win.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Robinson, "but we got it done."
