The Washington Eagles topped the Kansas City Bulls, 6-3, at Monument Field. Washington shortstop Gary Long was a spark plug for the offense. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Earning his 1st save for Washington was Ricky Grill. Washington sits at 1-6.
