Seagulls Upend Terriers, 3-1
|
San Francisco pitcher Jerry Patrick had a large part in his team beating the Boston Terriers, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Albert Green was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities. Boston has now lost 7 straight.
Matt Legrow, who is a two-time All-Star, had a direct impact on the outcome. Legrow contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put San Francisco up, 1-0.
"We've got to kick it in gear soon," said Boston manager Jonah Placeholder.
