Generals Take Home 4-2 Win Over Montreal
|
Atlanta Generals starter Rob Banas found his groove in his team's 4-2 win over the Montreal Habitants. Banas picked up the win for Atlanta, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 8-5. Ron Winder picked up the save, his 10th.
The Generals got a big at-bat from third baseman Preston Lee. For the game, Lee was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Atlanta a 4-2 lead.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Banas.
The Generals move to 32-38 with the win, while the Habitants drop to 37-33.
