Schifsky Leads New York Past Pittsburgh
|
The New York Knickerbockers got great pitching from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Ray Schifsky, allowing them to bump off the Pittsburgh Industrials, 4-0. The win for the Knickerbockers lifted their record to 38-32.
Schifsky, the New York right-hander, went 8.1 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits. He collected 5 strikeouts.
